This is a pot holder that I made for use with a bowl of hot soup or cereal.

This is the zippered pouch I made for my guild's swap.  I
enclosed a box of coloured markers as well.

Quilt-as-you-go table runner

Second is my finished Xmas table runner I made at the Edmonton Modern Quilt Guild's Workshop.  We were honoured to have instructor Marianne Haak for the weekend.  Was a great workshop and I am very happy with what I learned.

First is a picture of a cushion cover I just finished for my sister's birthday.  Hope to get it in the mail tomorrow.  She, like me, is a cat person.  Hope she likes this.

I have been working on this wall hanging for just about a month.  Paper piecing is not my thing.

I finished today and had my son take the following pictures.  This hanging is my entry into the Michael Miller challenge that my local modern quilt guild is doing.  I call it "He loves me, he loves me not"

MYSTERY QUILT

My guilt guild did a mystery quilt.  Here is how my turned out - needs to be quilted.

I love the blue!

The challenge for May at my local modern quilt guild was to do something modern.  After a sleepless night I came up with this.

Made this project bag at sew day yesterday.  Not sure I like the colours but it was the first one so will use different colours next time.  The bag is 12 x 12 and has a clear vinyl window so you can see your project or finished blocks.  It has a small crystal zipper pull.

CUSHIONS

I've had the kit for these cushion covers for a couple of years and decided their time had come.  They worked up quickly and I like the way they turned out.  Fresh and clean looking.

David's Quilt

Here is a quilt I made for my son, David, to used on cool summer nights.  It needs to be quilted but not sure how I want to quilt it. 

Here is the finished baby quilt.  The back was quilted by my friend Gwen and is a Michael Miller fabric - how to make paper hats and airplanes.

 Modern Quilt Guild - Mystery Quilt

My mystery quilt is coming along quite nicely, if I do say so myself.  I may have to chose a small border fabric to tone down the colour but will see when I have all the rows pieced together.  My design wall is not very big as you can see.  The quilt is six blocks across and six down.  Blocks are 8 1/2 ".
